The 33rd Nakamurabashi Awa Odori festival was held on Sept. 7, 2008. The rain did not stop the dance festival nor dampen the enthusiasm of the dancers and spectators. The dance parade was held along the Santsu Nakamurabashi shopping street that intersects with Nakamurabashi Station. Nakamurabashi is a short train ride from Ikebukuro Station on the Seibu Ikebukuro Line. Also see my YouTube video here.
