Kurashiki Tivoli Gardens opened in 1997 as an amusement park modeled after Tivoli Gardens in Denmark, complete with the Little Mermaid. However, it closed on Dec. 31, 2008. 倉敷チボリ公園

Kurashiki Tivoli Gardens was right near JR Kurashiki Station north exit. This the Tivoli tower as seen from the station.

Kurashiki Tivoli Gardens saw 2,986,471 visitors in 1997. This number steadily decreased over the years to 798,795 in 2008.
