The Shibuya Kagoshima Ohara Festival is a Kagoshima dance parade held annually near Shibuya Station in Tokyo in May. About 2,200 dancers in 63 troupes dance along the Dogenzaka and Bunkamura-dori main roads for almost 3 hours from 1:20 pm to 4 pm.

Meiji Shrine or Meiji Jingu is Tokyo largest and most important Shinto shrine. Dedicated to Emperor Meiji (1852–1912) and Empress Shoken (1849–1914). The most popular shrine during New Year's in Tokyo. It also holds a variety of seasonal events including spring and autumn festivals. One major highlight is yabusame horseback archery on Nov. 3. Near JR Harajuku Station and Meiji Jingu-mae Station (Chiyoda Line).
