Belonging to the Shingon Sect, Buzan School, Hosenji temple holds an unusual setsubun bean-throwing ceremony on Feb. 3. It includes a procession of warrior monks and throwing mikan tangerines besides beans. The temple is near Nakano-Sakue Station on the Marunouchi Line subway. Also see the video at YouTube.
