Tokyo once had 41 streetcar lines. All but one has given way to buses and subways. The Arakawa Line of the Tokyo Toden survived, running between Minowa-bashi and Waseda Stations. Four kilometers of the route runs through Arakawa Ward.

Arakawa Ward's largest park features a duck pond, kids pool, tennis courts, baseball field, cherry blossoms, and a bicycling path for kids. Rental bicycles, go-karts, and unicycles are available for free. Open 7 am to 5 pm or until 9 pm during the warmer months. Near Arakawa 2-chome Station on the Tokyo Toden streetcar Arakawa Line.
