Shower, toilet, and rubber broom　シャワーとトイレ

The floor of the shower area is the same as the toilet's. After taking a shower, we have to use a rubber broom (upper right corner) to sweep the water to the drain. I still don't understand why we have to do this and why the shower does not have a separate floor. Apparently this is common in Finland especially in older buildings.

シャワーとトイレの床は共有でシャワーの後にゴムぞうきん（右上）で水を排水に。面倒と思うけど、フィンランドの古い家にこうなっている。
