The main shrines are National Treasures since they are built in the unique Sumiyoshi-zukuri style. 48 viewsNicknamed "Sumiyossan" by locals, Sumiyoshi Taisha is the headquarters shrine of all Sumiyoshi shrines in Japan, about 600 of them.
