Stone Buddha

石仏 - The characters read "Sekibutsu." "Seki" is stone, "butsu" is Buddha. This small stone buddha was one of several embedded on a series of stone steps leading to the castle tower.

Place: Azuchi Castle Ruins, Shiga Pref.
