It is with great sadness to report that James Gatlin died of a heart attack in Jan. 2003. This was announced at his personal photography site at http://www.jagatlin.com/. I only met him online and never in person. Condolences to his wife and children.

Thank you for the wonderful link and mention of my site, The Geiko Gallery. Teruha is a very special woman, and is near and dear to the hearts of many postcard fans throughout the world. I was very pleased to find her story, and I am very glad that people can now learn more about this remarkable woman. Thank you again!
