YOKOSUKA, Japan (May 28, 2008) Sailors watch the pier while manning the rails aboard the aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63) during the ship's final departure from Fleet Activities Yokosuka. Kitty Hawk is returning to the United States for decommissioning after 10 years of service in Fleet Activities Yokosuka and will soon be relieved by the Nimitz-class nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73).
