Yokosuka, Japan (April 21, 2006) - Cmdr. Donald Cuddington, Navigator of USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63), explains the function of Kitty Hawk's navigation bridge to members of the Japanese American Wives Association (JAWA). Tours of Kitty Hawk are conducted to increase public awareness of the aircraft carrier's mission and capabilities. Currently in port, Kitty Hawk demonstrates sea control and power projection as the U.S. Navy's only permanently forward-deployed aircraft carrier.
