YOKOSUKA, Japan (Sept. 25 2008) Sailors man the rails of The Nimitz-Class aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73) as the carrier pulls into its new operating base at Fleet Activities Yokosuka. George Washington and Carrier Air Wing 5 will be operating from Fleet Activities Yokosuka as the U.S. Navy's only forward-deployed aircraft carrier.
