Arabian Gulf (Feb. 28, 2003) -- Airman Bena Videz from Albuquerque, N.M., assigned to the “Liberty Bells” of Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron One One Five (VAW 115) signals to flight deck personnel “ready aircraft” after completing checks on an E2-C “Hawkeye.” Kitty Hawk and Carrier Air Wing Five (CVW-5) are operating with coalition forces in support of Operation Southern Watch and Enduring Freedom, and is the world’s only permanently forward-deployed aircraft carrier operating out of Yokosuka, Japan.
