When Konishiki’s name was called, Akebono burst into tears. Konishiki was a huge inspiration for Akebono. Sporting a new hairstyle himself, Konishiki helps another person get a new hairstyle.
Konishiki exchanges a few words with Akebono after cutting a bit of the topknot.
Akebono wipes away tears as Konishiki leaves. Also notice that Konishiki is wearing a red, white, and blue ribbon to show support for the terrorist attack victims.
