NAKAHIRA Takuma 中平 卓馬 (1938- ) Founded Provoke magazine, a large-format photo magazine that featured his photos and MORIYAMA Daido's work. Also worked as a film critic.

Education Graduated Tokyo Gaikokugo Univ. majoring in Spanish.

Career Started out as a magazine editor in the early 1960s. Started to take photos after being inspired by TOMATSU Shomei's photos.

In 1977, he collapsed from alcohol overdose and lost his memory. Has continued taking photos ever since.
