TSUZUKI Kyoichi 都築 響一 (1956-) Photographer and magazine editor of art books. Columnist for Spa magazine showing the unusual sights and places of Japan. The column has been compiled in book form called Roadside Japan for which he won the Kimura Ihee Award.
Tokyo Style is a previous photo book showing the living quarters of young people in Tokyo. He categorizes the living spaces as cute, messy, workplace cum living space, spartan and cheap, etc. He wanted to dispel the traditional stereotypical Japanese interior often presented by the media and imagined in the minds of foreigners. He wanted to show the true Tokyo Style.
