TAKANASHI Yutaka 高梨 豊 (1935.2.6- ) Tokyo.

Graduated Nihon Univ. in 1957, majoring in photography. Worked as an assistant at Osamu Yagi Studio. After leaving the studio, entered the Kuwasawa Design School. Graduated in 1961 and entered the Japan Design Center (left in 1970).

Helped start Provoke magazine. Served as professor at the Tokyo Univ. of Art and Design. Tokyo is a favorite theme.

Awards Newcomer's Award, Japan Society of Photographic Critics, 1964; Grand Prix, Youth Biennale in Paris, 1967; Award of the Year, Japan Photographic Society, 1984 & 1993.
