英語版の歌を普及させるためにやっとCDができました。

  • 4曲収録：英語版（ピアノ伴奏＋アカペラ）、日本語、ピアノ（カラオケ）
  • 歌はジェイミーとメゲン・トンプソン姉妹（美しいハーモニー!!）
  • 12ページのCDブックレットに英語版歌詞、日本語歌詞、歌の紹介（英語尾と日本語）、歌碑紹介、滋賀の英文概要。

Lake Biwa Rowing Song CD on sale from June 16, 2007

Lake Biwa Rowing Song, the English version of Shiga's most famous song called Biwako Shuko no Uta, will soon be available on CD. The CD aims to further spread this English song within and outside Shiga.

  • Four tracks are recorded: The English song (with and without piano music), the Japanese song, and piano music only.
  • Sung by Jamie and Megan Thompson, twin sisters from Normal, Illinois.
  • 12-page CD booklet includes the English lyrics, Japanese lyrics (also romanized), English and Japanese explanation of the English song and Japanese song, introduction of song monuments in English, and brief outline of Shiga Prefecture in English.
  • Makes a wonderful souvenir of your trip to Shiga or a gift for your friends.
  • English lyrics by Philbert Ono
  • You can order online or buy the CD at selected vendors in Shiga Prefecture (see list below).

How to Order

1. Send email to philbert@photojpn.org. Tell us your name, shipping address, desired quantity of CDs, preferred shipping method (SAL, air mail, or EMS if you are outside Japan), and preferred payment method. For the subject line, type "CD."

For customers in Japan, the price for one CD is 1,100 yen including tax and shipping.

For overseas customers, the price is as follows:

  • Via SAL (takes about 2 weeks): $15
  • Via air mail (takes about a week): $22
  • Via EMS (takes 3-4 days): $30

After payment is confirmed, we will send the CD.
