JUMONJI Bishin 十文字 美信 (1947.3.4- ) Yokohama, Kanagawa Pref. Graduated Kanagawa Prefectural Industrial Science School. Assistant for Shinoyama Kishin in Tokyo 1969-71. Freelance since 1971, based in Tokyo.

Exhibited at the "New Japanese Photography" 1974 exhibition at the New York Museum of Modern Art. Humorist photographer with fantasy and funny moments as major themes. Advertising photography has been the main line of work. (2000.12.17)

Awards: Tokyo Art Directors Club Prize 1975; Ina Nobuo Award, 1980; 10th Domon Ken Award, 1991.
