The Kichijoji Autumn Festival is held annually in Sept. Around ten mikoshi portable shrines are paraded around the streets, mainly on the north side of Kichijoji Station.

On the first day, Sept. 13, 2008 (Sat.), there is a parade starting from Musashino Hachimangu Shrine at 11 am. It goes down toward the train station. Then later, all the portable shrines around around their own areas.

On the second day, Sept. 14, 2008 (Sun.), all the mikoshi gathered on the street in front of Kichijoji Station's north side at 3 pm.
|

This is called Rengo Togyo or joint portable shrine procession. 神輿連合渡御

Before 3 pm, all the mikoshi come one after another.
