Kitty Hawk is the U.S. Navy's oldest active aircraft carrier. Currently under way in the 7th Fleet area of responsibility, Kitty Hawk demonstrates power, projection and sea control as the U.S. Navy's only permanently, forward-deployed aircraft carrier.
